People often ponder over post timings, and more often than not, it’s a game of chess, against (Insert no. of followers) different people on the same board. For years, marketers and social media gurus have claimed that this ‘magical’ hour exists, and they’ve offered numerous conflicting opinions on when it might be. So, Is there really a “Perfect” timing to post? Well, The truth is, there is no one-size-fits-all answer for this question.

People in this day and age are active throughout the day, regardless of work and other factors. In other ways, people who are usually active at 6pm on a Sunday may not be active at 6pm on a Sunday every time. Insights are just past data used to have a remote idea of what time your post may get the most engagement.

If the content is engaging, entertaining, captivating (& other synonyms you can find on Google), more often than not – your content will get its deserved attention. We realized this was the case when we posted (what we thought was great content) at 6pm on a Sunday according to insights. The results were alright but not what we had hoped for. A bit later, we threw all our eggs in one basket and posted at 8pm (on a Wednesday!!) and the results were beyond imagination.  270+ likes in less than 2 hours – that’s more than what your average influencer would get on one of their sponsored selfies.
